01 / Notice the signs
Tell us what you’re noticing.
A useful observation is enough to start. You don’t need to diagnose the equipment.
- 01Warm air
- The system runs, but the room isn’t getting comfortable.
- 02Little airflow
- Air feels weaker than usual at the vents.
- 03Unusual cycling
- The system switches on and off more often than you expect.
- 04Water or ice
- You notice water near the unit or ice on part of the system.
02 / Your repair visit
A clear explanation. A written estimate.
We’ll call before arriving, assess the system and explain the proposed repair in a written estimate. We stand behind our work, including parts and labor.
Leave equipment panels, wiring, and refrigerant to a qualified technician.

My A/C is blowing warm air. Does it just need refrigerant?
Warm air does not confirm low refrigerant. Thermostat settings, restricted airflow, dirty components or a mechanical fault can also affect cooling. We diagnose the system before recommending a repair. If refrigerant is low, the cause needs to be investigated rather than assuming that adding more is the complete fix.
What should I do if I see ice on my air conditioner?
Switch cooling off at the thermostat and arrange service. Ice can be associated with restricted airflow or a refrigerant problem, and continuing to cool can damage the equipment. Let the technician determine the cause; do not chip off the ice or open the equipment.
How will I know what an A/C repair costs?
We diagnose the problem, explain the recommended work and provide a written estimate before repairs begin. The repair price depends on the fault and the parts and work needed, so a symptom alone is not enough for a reliable quote.
Does a major A/C repair mean I should replace the system?
It makes sense to compare the repair with replacement, especially if other faults have been recurring. Consider the condition of the rest of the equipment, comfort and your plans for the property as well as the repair price. We explain the work involved in each option.
What happens if you cannot fix my A/C the same day?
If we cannot repair or replace your system the same day, we provide portable A/C at no charge to help cool a room while we arrange the work. We coordinate the unit and its placement with you.
Do I have to call the company that originally installed my A/C?
No. We repair all brands of whole-home air conditioning systems, regardless of where the equipment was purchased. If you have an existing warranty or service agreement, have those terms available so we can clarify how they relate to the requested work.
Can today’s repair cost count toward a replacement later?
Yes. If your system is 9 years old or older and you choose a PAR repair, you have six months to decide whether to replace it with us. If you do, we apply the full original repair cost as a credit toward your new system.
Do you offer weekend emergency service?
Yes. Saturday and Sunday are emergency calls only, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern time. Our regular service hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call the team to arrange emergency service.
