When repair is still on the table.
A heating fault does not automatically mean replacement. Diagnosis, equipment condition, repair history and your plans help frame the decision. If the system has simply stopped working, our heating repair page is a useful starting point.
Six months to decide on replacement.
For systems 9 years and older, you can choose a PAR repair and take six months to decide whether to replace the system with us. If you choose replacement within those six months, we apply the full cost of the original repair as a credit toward your new system.
Support while you wait for replacement.
When necessary, we cover local hotel accommodations up to $150 per night for a maximum of two nights for customers with elderly household members or small children who are waiting for their system to be replaced. Contact the team to coordinate arrangements for your household.

Every HVAC installation includes duct sanitation (fogging), a UV light system and a Wi-Fi thermostat. Your installation proposal explains the treatment, equipment and setup included with your new system.

Will replacing my heating system also change my A/C?
It can. A heat pump uses the same system for heating and cooling, while other installations may share only some components. The proposal should identify the indoor and outdoor equipment being replaced, what will remain and how the components will work together.
Should I replace my heating system just because it is old?
Age is a reason to review the system, not an automatic replacement decision. The diagnosis, repair history, comfort and condition of the equipment should guide the choice. If one repair can address the problem and the rest is in good condition, repair may still make sense.
What should a heating replacement estimate include?
Look for the proposed equipment, installation work, removal of the old system, controls and any related ductwork. The estimate should also explain applicable permit and inspection responsibilities and startup checks. Ask how our parts-and-labor commitment applies and what separate equipment terms are included.
